Plan Choice

Once you have chosen the right plan that best fits your needs, you will need to select the Zone/Coverage Area.

Zone Coverage Area

Most people choose the Zone/Coverage Area near where they live. In some instances, this may not be feasible.

Others seek health care elsewhere. These reasons vary due to economic factors and the services offered. Some people choose to go outside the country for health care services because of employment and unique needs and find a higher quality of care. The choice is up to you.

The Application

The Application is straightforward.  The questions help us better understand how we can serve you and your family's needs. Once you've found the plan that's right for you and your family, you can complete the Application below to enroll. 

Review your results and enrollment details before submitting your final enrollment. You may find it helpful to keep family dates of birth and other information handy when completing your enrollment forms. In some instances, our underwriter may contact you, who may ask for additional information or clarification of a specific question. 

Payment Requirements

As you get to the end of your Application, you will notice that the Application will automatically calculate your monthly payment. Once your Application for health coverage has been submitted, you will then be required to make your first payment before your coverage can begin.  In most cases, you will be prompted to enter your credit, Debit card, or other payment method information to make your first payment processed by the Company. Coverage is subject to validation and acceptance by the credit card company.

Please note: your charge/debit could take up to 48 hours before the amount appears on your account due to processing and per-underwriting review. However, processing of the payment does not guarantee coverage will be approved. If you do not qualify for coverage, your payment will not be processed, and if processed, shall be returned.

 Effective Date For Coverage

Once you've enrolled and made your first payment, it can take about 3 weeks for your Application to be processed. Suppose you applied for major medical health insurance, and your enrollment was received in the first fifteen days of the month. In that case, your coverage will typically begin on the first day of the following month unless it is determined that more information is needed.

The Date of Application Impacts Effective Dates

Suppose your Application and payment for major medical insurance (i.e WorldCare Standard, Premier and Premier Plus) are received on the 16th day of the month or later. In that case, your coverage will generally begin on the first day of the month after next. You will receive your insurance cards and a welcome package online, including a copy of your insurance policy after you've been approved. You will be notified by email or text message when your information is ready to download.

Some effective dates begin at different times, depending on the policy (i.e., World Traveler). These flexible insurance products, which are designed to function as affordable alternatives to major medical. Enrollment dates may vary based on the insurance plan chosen and the date on which you apply. In many instances, enrollment and coverage can begin within 10 days or less of your first payment.
